Play
There are three domains of development for children – physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional. The goal of education, at home and in school, should be to equally nurture all areas. If a child isn’t good in math, it doesn’t mean he’s not smart; he may be socially intelligent instead. Provide your pre-schooler with a safe and stimulating environment in which to play and expose him to a variety of age-appropriate materials rich in texture and color. Exploring with materials like sand or play dough and engaging in free play will help develop fine motor skills – sit back and discover how creative he is! Learning doesn’t take place in the classroom so invite a few kids over and let them play in the sandbox, the park, of the beach. This will help your child learn important social skills such as sharing and waiting for his turn. Expose your child to a safe, healthy and stimulating environment so that he can explore freely and experience the world around him. With nannycam around, safety is ensured. Give him all the chance to succeed. Let him grow. Let him go.
