No To Spanking

feature photo

Spanking is a form of punishment usually employed by parents in disciplining their child. Usually spanking is done with an open hand, but sometimes an implement such as a paddle or a slipper is also used. Some countries prohibit spanking as a form of discipline, citing that it is a form of physical abuse and is ineffective, and dangerous to the child. There are a lot of alternative ways to discipline a child according to their age, for example, making them take a time out, or grounding them. Simply reminding your child that it doesn’t take a CCTV security camera for you to know what monkey business they are up to keeps you in a position of authority; you don’t have to hurt the child to keep you in that position.
