Time to Say Bye-Bye to Nappy

feature photo

Toilet training a toddler has always been a frustrating task for the parent and the child as well. It does take time for your child to fully understand why he needs to say bye-bye to his nappy but knowing the signs that he’s ready can make the transition much easier.

To begin with, your child should be physically ready for potty training. If he’s still wetting his diapers every couple of hours, it could indicate that his bladder muscles are not rather strong enough yet. Two to three year-old children are usually the ones who are prepared for this stage. Moreover, if your child is already aware to come to you after he wet or dirtied his diaper and asks you to change it, then he may be ready to ditch his diapers. Another sign is that if he shows an interest and curiosity in a potty or toilet.

Though the process might take a lot of frustration, encouragement, and positive reinforcement, your kid will eventually get the hang of it.
